During the six days spent on the Isla del Coco (Coconut Island), we will be offering 4 scuba diving sessions per day, 2 in the morning (starting at 8:00 AM, followed by 11:00), 1 in the afternoon at 2:00 PM, crowned by a nocturnal dive at 5:30 PM. On board, our tanks are filled with NITROX compressors with a membrane for your greater safety and comfort. Before any of the diving sessions, our DiveMasters, who will be in charge of your comfort and security, will be briefing you on the procedures to follow during diving, including site conditions, sign language to use as a form of communication, diving profile, description of the diving site, and any other information pertaining to the dive. For your ease of immersion into the water, we provide 2 boats completely adapted to your needs, up to a maximum of 9 divers plus the DiveMaster. Both boats will be set out close to each other near the diving sites. After each diving session, the Adventure on-board staff will welcome you back with a snack, while our Dive Masters will be preparing the equipment and tanks for the next dive. |
Destinations
GOLFO EXPRESS is a company focused on developing ecologic scuba diving by bringing tourists to paradisiacal destinations, where they can enjoy an exploration of a wide variety of flora and fauna during their dive.
We will have the pleasure to count on-board invited scientists from different universities and research centers who will impart with us, during short evening sessions, various behaviors occurring in nature during dives, on or off the island, thus expanding ourperspective while providing us with insight on how to collaborate toward the conservation of not only the Isla del Coco, but also different locations recognized throughout the world.
Our 10-day trip will consist of a 6-day stay on the Isla del Coco during which we will hold 4 daily scuba dives, 3 in the day and 1 at night. After each dive, our staff members will welcome you back on-board with tasty snacks for your greater comfort.
Our staff members are highly qualified in their fields of expertise, bilingual (Spanish and English) for your convenience and possess a thorough knowledge of the Isla del Coco.
We also provide you with an on-board NITROX membrane system and all of the diving equipment to ensure that your dive is done in complete safety.
Complete equipment rental is available for your enjoyment of this activity.
Our Cruise Director will not only be responsible for answering any of your requests, but also be in charge of the diving operation.
Our diving staff consists of 2 on-board instructors, who, collectively, possess an extense experience.
They are the ones who will guide you through all of the scheduled dives.
Additionally, we offer a NITROX training for any of the non-certified divers; that way, they too can enjoy all of the dives held in the Isla del Coco under the highest safety standards.
For your convenience, two completely upgraded boats are used for our dives, each holding a maximum of 10 divers, including their respective Captains.
