We recommend that you to fly to San José, Costa Rica you must arrive one night prior the boat departure date and we recommend standing one night after the return, in case of delays.

All passengers must have a valid passport to enter Costa Rica; we recommend checking with the Costa Rican consulate to see if visas are necessary to enter the country.

Upon arrival to San José, you may take a taxi, from the airport to downtown it will cost you US$20. We can also arrange for your airport transfer as well as for accommodations at two hotels in San José.

The night before departure Golfo Express representative will inform you at your hotel of your pick up time for transport to the vessel. We pick up ONLY for the two hotels that we recommend. Hotel night and meals before and after the cruise are not included in the charter.

On the day departure to Cocos, you will be pick up the two hotels and transferred by our bus to Puntarenas; the port where you will board the vessel.
The drive takes about 2.5 hours on route you will enjoy the view of the tropical forest and the mount of the region.

The bus will stopped one’s for snacks or lunch, price of this meals not include on the trip.

At the end of the trip you will be transferred back to you hotel in San José.

The general knowledge.

- Spanish is the official language; we have by language personal on board.
- The national currency in the colones US$1=580 cls. International credit cards and USdls are wide by accepted.
- There is no Malaria in Costa Rica, drinking water is safe.
- There is a departure tax of US$26 (collected at the airport).
- We will be glad to arrange one day tours or longer trips to more remote parts of the country ay your request.
- Remember to pack lightly; you will be dressing for warm tropical weather.
